Terms and Conditions

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ ALL POLICIES BELOW. BY PURCHASING LUUL RETREATS YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED BELOW.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to LUUL retreats (“LUUL”). By proceeding to purchase any of the LUUL retreats, classes, or any service(s), you (the “user”) acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Our Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time, after providing notice to you. The user agrees to be bound by any future amendments made to the Terms and Conditions. The user can review the most current version of the Terms and conditions at any time by accessing the “Terms and Conditions” link on the LUUL website.

Cancellation & Payment Policy

By registering for the retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

1. Deposit

A £500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the retreat. The deposit may be paid either in full or through installments. Regardless of how the deposit is paid, the total £500 deposit amount is non-refundable under all circumstances.

The deposit is applied toward the total cost of the retreat.

2. Full Payment Responsibility

By registering for the retreat, you commit to paying the full retreat fee. This applies whether payment is made in full or through an installment/payment plan.

If you choose a payment plan, all scheduled payments must be completed according to the agreed payment schedule, regardless of whether you later cancel or are unable to attend the retreat for any reason.

Failure to complete payments may result in collection of the outstanding balance.

3. Participant Cancellation

All payments made toward the retreat, including the deposit and any subsequent installments, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics or public health events (including COVID-related illness, restrictions, or quarantine)
  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Illness or medical conditions
  • Personal, family, or work emergencies
  • Change of mind
  • Travel restrictions or border closures
  • Visa issues
  • Transportation disruptions of any kind

Participants who choose not to attend, arrive late, or leave early remain responsible for the full retreat fee.

In the event that a participant is no longer able to attend, any request to transfer the booking will be considered solely at the discretion of Luul. A transfer may only be offered where the participant’s original place is successfully resold to another participant.

Where such resale is achieved, the participant may be offered the option to transfer their booking to an alternative retreat taking place within the same calendar year, subject to availability.

No transfers will be permitted beyond the same calendar year as the original booking.

Luul makes no guarantee that a place will be resold, and participants remain fully liable for the total retreat fee unless and until the space has been filled.

4. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, travel delays, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events.

Travel insurance may help protect your investment in the event that you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Shared Accommodation Policy (Twin Rooms)

Participants may elect to reserve a place in a shared twin room on the understanding that such accommodation is contingent upon a suitable roommate being available.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to allocate a roommate, this cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a roommate cannot be assigned for any reason, the booking will be deemed to convert automatically to single occupancy.

In such circumstances, the participant shall be liable for the full single occupancy supplement. This additional charge is mandatory and a condition of confirming a shared room booking.

By selecting shared accommodation, the participant expressly acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

6. Retreat Organiser Cancellation or Changes

In the unlikely event that the retreat must be cancelled by the organiser due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to venue issues, safety concerns, force majeure events, or insufficient enrollment), participants will receive a refund of payments made, excluding any third-party costs already incurred where applicable.

The organiser is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to flights, travel arrangements, visas, insurance, or other personal expenses.

7. Itinerary Changes

The retreat organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat schedule, accommodations, teachers, or activities if necessary due to weather, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond their control.

Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

8. Force Majeure

The organiser shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, war, civil unrest, or transportation disruptions.

9. Agreement to Terms

By registering for the retreat and submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this cancellation and payment policy.

THIRD PARTY VENDORS

During the retreats, there will be third-parties providing services, including catering, transportation, and lodging. LUUL is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any of these third parties. Although LUUL strives to provide the best services and products available, LUUL has no control over such third parties and LUUL is not responsible or liable for any products, materials, or services, or the lack thereof. The user further acknowledges and agrees that LUUL is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damages or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on such third parties, goods or services.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

All terms of these Terms and Agreements shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The parties hereby submit to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales with respect to any action, suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to LUUL retreats.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of these Terms and Conditions which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are severable. In lieu thereof, there shall be added a provision as similar in terms to such illegal, invalid and unenforceable provision as may be possible and be legal, valid and enforceable.
The organiser shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, war, civil unrest, or transportation disruptions.
